Packaging Design Ten Years Planting Cycle Packaging by Jonny Wang Qinjianguo is a packaging design for iron stick yam powder. The product follows a ten-year planting cycle, in which the land rests and only one season of yam is grown every decade. Yam grown in such soil absorbs rich nutrients, and the pulp is made directly into powder. The box measures 120 by 120 by 150 millimeters. The graphics form a visual symbol of the number ten, built from swallows in spring, cicadas in summer, farming work in autumn, cedars in winter and plowing farmers. The imagery shows the seasons of the decade.
