Two Arches Villa

Hossein Hassani

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Two Arches Villa by Hossein Hassani Two Arches is a villa located in a calm setting in Damavand, Iran. The design reflects the origins of Iranian architecture from a modern point of view. Traditional principles and spatial hierarchy guide the plan to provide privacy and comfort for the inhabitants. Inspired by Iranian gardens, a waterway forms the main axis of the site. A white plane between two arches divides the public and private spaces. On the first floor, a bridge connects these areas as a corridor. The building covers 200 square meters and combines concrete and metal with brick cladding.
