Guiyang New Community Park Residential Exhibition Area

Landscape Planning and Garden Design Guiyang New Community Park Residential Exhibition Area by Hu Sun Guiyang New Community Park is a public park in Guiyang, China. The park covers 130000 square meters beside the Laoma River. Interventions on the site were kept to a minimum, and most existing trees and ground covers were retained. Farming terraces were reintroduced using traditional construction methods. Low dry walls, stairs, paths and a large amphitheatre were built with local limestone. The design offers leisure areas for people of all ages while preserving the karst landform and the seasonal changes of the river.
