Origin Dental Clinic

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Origin Dental Clinic by Lieh-Wei Liu Origin is a dental clinic interior in Taipei, Taiwan, planned for patients treated for sleep apnea through orthodontic care. The treatment rooms are shaped like eggs, recalling a nest, a plant pod or a protective shell. Curved surfaces soften the boundaries between floor, walls and ceiling, and the lighting creates a mild and safe atmosphere. The shapes were simulated in three dimensions and cut by computer controlled machines, then assembled on site and covered with curved plates. The layout keeps the movement and function of the medical equipment intact.
