Interior Space and Exhibition Design Urban Jungle Beauty Salon by Cheng Nan Chin Urban Jungle is a beauty salon interior located on the second floor of a building in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The 132 square meter space combines wood grain, green plants and a gabion wall with exposed steel bars to bring a natural feeling into a bare concrete interior. A T-shaped island seating area and tool storage cabinets are arranged with attention to natural light and customer privacy. The ceiling layer was removed to reduce visual pressure. Water-resistant plaster on the reception and bar counters suits the humid local climate and keeps the gray tone soft under light.
