After a Bird Fell Down Book

Print and Published Media Design After a Bird Fell Down Book by Shu-Wei Chang After a Bird Fell Down is a picture book that combines the structure of a hole book and a pop-up book. The book measures 105 by 150 millimetres and is about 27 millimetres thick, close to the size of a small bird. As the pages are turned, the hole grows larger and the sprout rises higher, while the book itself becomes thinner. The cover is white, has a sand-like texture and holds a transparent sticker printed with a green feather inside a debossed recess. The design shows that passing time brings both loss and new growth.
