Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design Insecta Iridesse Print Sales Catalogue by Plus Collaboratives Insecta Iridesse is a print sales catalogue created to present metallic printing effects. The catalogue replaces the standard colour swatch with a fictional explorer's journal that documents imaginary rare insect species. Thirty gem-like jewellery pieces, including bracelets, necklaces, hairpieces, earrings and brooches, are made almost entirely of paper and printed with speciality gold, silver and white inks. The folio holds folded maps, tickets, newspaper clippings and certificates on coated and uncoated paper stock. Viewers are invited to inspect each print effect closely.
