Suzhou Creek Waterfront and Campus Landscape

Landscape Planning and Garden Design Suzhou Creek Waterfront and Campus Landscape by Lao Xue Suzhou Creek is a waterfront and campus landscape design in Shanghai. The project covers about 93,600 square meters and includes about 900 meters of riverside frontage beside a university campus. Buildings that weakened the overall style were removed and the riverside area was widened. Steps were replaced by gentle slopes to remove height differences and enlarge the pedestrian space. Historical buildings and mature trees were retained. The former footpath and planting strip became a combined campus landscape, shared space and riverside promenade open to the public.
