Sweeping and mopping are performed at the same time, so most common waste is removed in one pass. The mophead is self-cleaned and air-dried at the base station, which prevents secondary pollution and slippery floors. Edge cleaning reaches a minimum distance of one centimetre, reducing missed corners. The robot takes elevators on its own, detects the level of stains and repeats cleaning when needed. The design supports cleaning staff where labour is scarce.
