Interior Space and Exhibition Design The River is Everywhere Placid Place by Kai-Hung Yang The River is Everywhere is a residential interior design for a 200-square-metre apartment in Taipei City. The design draws on the nearby river and on the theme of a spiritual journey. The entry ceiling was remodelled into a smooth curved line. Layered openings on the living room partition walls cast shadows that recall trees seen from a river. Plaster surfaces were finished by hand to give the open plan a clean and bright quality. A bespoke dining counter of marble and plastic sheet with a curved mirror leg stands at the centre of the space.
