Tears in Venice Residential

Raymond LI

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Tears in Venice Residential by Raymond LI Tears in Venice is a residential interior design created for a family of four in Taipei. Two housing units were merged to form one open living space. A girder crossing the main area defines the ceiling height and separates the living room from the open kitchen. Daylight is drawn deep into the interior, creating layers of light and shadow. The cabinets are planned to form a continuous line of light and to provide large storage. Columns and walls near the entrance are rounded to soften the structure and to support a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
