My Moonfly Gift Box

Packaging Design My Moonfly Gift Box by ShenZhen XiShang Boutique Packing Co., Ltd My Moonfly is a gift box designed for moon cakes presented at the Mid-Autumn Festival. The design depicts the Moon Palace of Chinese mythology, with pavilions and halls formed by multi-layered three-dimensional paper carving. A light inside the moon shines through the carved layers, creating changing patterns of light and shadow. The box holds six moon cakes and a case with forks and knives. Eco-friendly paper is used, with embossing and gold stamping. Measuring 242 by 242 by 75 millimeters, the box can be kept as a lit decoration on shelves or tables.
