Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Oak Project Handmade Fashion by LILI DCHI Oak Project is a hand-woven knitwear collection inspired by the oak forests of the Zagros mountains in Iran. Each cape is knitted entirely by hand with two knitting needles, without industrial machines. One cape takes about 100 to 120 hours to complete. Natural wool and cotton are used, so the garments are durable and safe for the environment. The motifs are first drawn freehand, then prepared as carpet patterns, so the knitting follows the method of a hand-woven carpet. Sizes are woven to order using standard clothing measurements.
