Larma Apartment

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Larma Apartment by javad davoodi Larma is an apartment building located in Royan, in the north of Iran. The building has six floors and twelve units. A gable roof answers the rainfall of Mazandaran in autumn and winter and follows the local building tradition. Brick, a material long used in Iranian architecture, forms the main surfaces. Colored glass set in wooden window frames brings tinted light into the corridors and stair areas. Shrubs and green plants on the facade recall the forests of Mazandaran, while large green terraces recall the yards of the region.
