Anchor and Sail Residential House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Anchor and Sail Residential House by Jerry Hsu Anchor and Sail is a residential interior design of 230 square meters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Ocean and cruise ship motifs guide the layout, materials, fixtures and color scheme. The open common area holds four zones: a home cinema, a dining section, a fireplace area and a wine-tasting section. A ceiling shaped like a billowing sail and a central beam that recalls a mast reinforce the theme. Space taken from the common area enlarges the closets of the three bedrooms. Soft curves on walls and ceilings cover protrusions and create a gentle feel.
