Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Flow Kamakura Hotel by Daisuke Takamiya The Flow Kamakura is a vacation rental style hotel located in Kamakura, Japan, close to temples, shrines and the beach. The three-story wooden building has a total floor area of 160 square meters. Plastering, wood, antique furniture and modern tiles are combined to reflect the local history and the modern surf lifestyle. Windows, louvers and top lights bring in light and scenery while screening off the surrounding residential area. The rooftop terrace offers views of the ocean, the mountains and Mount Fuji. The hotel operates without a reception desk.
