Urban Planning and Urban Design Future Headquarters Community Office and Residence by ZUP Future Headquarters Community is an urban design for a mixed-use district in Hangzhou, China. The plan combines office and residential functions to serve companies and their staff. High-rise buildings surround a central park, recalling the mountains around the West Lake. Water features connect the main public spaces, referring to the Grand Canal. Vertical public spaces on several levels link the buildings and support contact between people. The design hosts both large companies and start-ups in one shared setting.
