The Normal Cafe Shop

Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Normal Cafe Shop by Yun Chien,Tsai The Normal Cafe is a coffee shop interior in Taipei, Taiwan. The original space is narrow and long, and columns divide the layout. A curved line runs from the entrance to the rear of the shop and merges with the counter, which forms the core of the design. Mirrors cover the columns beside the counter to reduce visual barriers. Blue mosaic tiles, gray tones and wood textures are the main materials, and a blue stone top rests on the curved counter. Equipment is placed under the counter, so the espresso system and the brewing process stay visible.
