Tiger 2022 Ceramic Tableware

Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Tiger 2022 Ceramic Tableware by Chen Zilong Tiger 2022 is a set of ceramic tableware designed around the Chinese zodiac year of the tiger. The set includes cups, a teapot, plates and a coffee cup with saucer. Handmade blue and white porcelain from Jingdezhen is used and fired at 1300 degrees. Graphic elements are drawn by hand, made into blue and white paper, then cut and applied to each piece in an ordered and rhythmic arrangement. The motifs include the tiger symbol of the Han Dynasty, tiger calligraphy and English auspicious words. The design joins traditional Chinese symbols with a simple international style.
