The structure is simple and unpretentious, combining metal with wool upholstery. The volume of the seat, the lines of the frame and the contrast between solid and empty forms reflect the reserved character of oriental philosophy. The cover is made of imported wool fabric, stabilized by a traditional process to create a smooth surface with good resistance to wear and pilling. Layers of sponge of different densities are combined to give a comfortable seat. Kuan is available with different covering materials.
