Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Are We Womenswear Collection by Au Jie Min Are We is a womenswear collection created to raise awareness of the damage caused by humans to the marine world. The design highlights the beauty of coral systems and ocean waves. Lightweight silky organza is used in multiple layers to form flowing flares over a soft netting base. Each coral-like ornament is handcrafted and hand-stitched one by one, and the main garment carries about 300 of these details. Loose silhouettes and layered attachments give the collection a soft and full movement. The intent is to encourage people to protect the ocean.
