Sky Bar Roof Top Restaurant

Ketan Jawdekar

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Sky Bar Roof Top Restaurant by Ketan Jawdekar Sky Bar is a rooftop restaurant located above a hotel in Kolhapur, India. The main feature is a parametric ceiling made of 20521 recycled paper tubes suspended from a fabricated frame. The paper tubes refer to the textile mills of the region, where similar tubes are used to roll fabric. The tubes move with the natural breeze and form wave-like patterns. The ceiling pattern also divides the long space into sections, including a bar, an open seating area and a sun deck. Basalt stone walls and a grey ceramic floor complete the interior.
