Safety Pin Ring

Jewelry Design Safety Pin Ring by Margarita Prysiazhniuk Safety Pin is a ring shaped as a fully functional safety pin. The ring sits over three of the wearer's fingers and can also be used as a brooch, pendant or pin. Safety Pin is made of 18ct yellow gold and set with multicoloured gemstones of 2.09 carats, with a total weight of 14.40 grams. A 3D model was prepared, then a wax prototype was printed and cast in gold. The cast was finished by hand and polished. The gemstones were fixed in place, and the parts were then joined. The design aims to remain lightweight, wearable and playful.
