Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design GAAHK Inauguration Ceremony Key Visual Design by Alex King GAAHK Inauguration Ceremony is a key visual design created for the twentieth inauguration ceremony of the Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong. The visual is based on digital ink mixing, repeated more than one hundred times to reach a balanced composition of positive and negative space. The image refers to an artisan blending vivid colors for print work. The design is adapted to a digital backdrop, a sign board, a brochure, an invitation card, a souvenir and a mask. The brochure cover uses spot ultraviolet coating with silver and gold foils, so the surface can be felt by hand.
