Sindin measures the contact angle between liquids and solid materials, which describes how well a liquid wets a surface. The instrument uses video contour analysis and combines a digital camera, a zoom microscope and an adjustable LED background light source. A three-dimensional sample table allows automatic micro injection and precise movement. The body is made of aviation-grade aluminum. Dedicated software captures images, analyzes them and exports the measured data automatically, which reduces operator error.
