Global Hub Square Offices

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Global Hub Square Offices by Satoshi Itasaka Global Hub Square is an office building complex set in a forest on Awaji Island, Japan. The project moved a Tokyo office to a quiet natural site surrounded by fresh air and sea breeze. Large windows bring sunlight and wind into the interior and open the rooms to the landscape. A cafeteria serves healthy meals made with local food to both employees and island residents. The architecture recalls a temple through a series of graceful arches and a large central staircase. The total floor area is 2257 square meters.
