Iko Hanging Chair

Ivo Andric

Office Furniture Design Iko Hanging Chair by Ivo Andric Iko is a hanging chair designed as a quiet retreat within open offices. The form is based on the icosahedron, one of the five Platonic solids, and this geometry gives the design its name. The main structure combines wooden elements with CNC-milled metal cylinders. Triangular acoustic panels are covered with pure wool textile, and the seat is filled with grain husk. The chair hangs from hemp ropes. Iko can be used to read, focus, make a phone call, work or rest, without disturbing other people in the same room.
