Jewelry Design Monir Earrings by Nardin Sabounchi Monir is a pair of earrings inspired by an artwork of Monir Farmanfarmaian, an artist known for her interest in geometry and mirror mosaic work. Each earring has a cross form with four equal sides. The angles and corners create bright reflections, giving an effect of light and shadow. The earrings are made of S925 silver. The first sketches were drawn by hand, then modeled with software and printed as resin patterns for casting. Each piece is sanded and polished by hand. The low weight of 5.44 grams suits daily use.
