The shoe is shaped around the running habits and foot form of Chinese athletes. A full-length carbon plate is built into a double-layer sole, where the plate stores and releases energy as the runner steps down and pushes off. The double arc sole spreads body weight over a larger contact area under load. Materials include a foam insole, a nylon foam midsole, a lightweight yarn upper and a wear resistant, non slip sole. The aim is to keep runners comfortable and stable while saving effort over long distances.
