Interior Space and Exhibition Design Vanke Design Commune Auditorium by Wang Jingjing Vanke Design Commune is an auditorium and public interior space in Shenzhen, China. The design uses the existing structures to form a floating path leading from the entrance to the auditorium. This steel corridor is suspended in the full-height front hall and is supported by the existing vertical columns, which also conceal pipelines. Heavy concrete and light metal create a strong contrast, giving the corridor an elevated appearance. The route simplifies circulation and offers a garden-like walk. An independent viewing area above the auditorium is combined with a tea drink space.
