Interior Space and Exhibition Design W Chengdu Hotel by Glyph Design Studio W Chengdu is a hotel interior design completed in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The project covers 26800 square meters, including public areas on five levels and about 297 guest rooms and suites. The design draws on the natural colors of Jiuzhaigou, motifs from Sichuan Opera, and the local history of poets and poems. Neutral stone and wood tones are accented with vivid hues and dichroic glass, which shifts color as light changes. A waterfall installation stands in the lobby, and a fluid stone floor pattern guides guests through the spaces.
