Gato Commercial Space

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Gato Commercial Space by Hung-Yuan Hsu Gato is a commercial interior in Taiwan that combines a shoe exhibition and sale area, a cafe, a bar and a cigar collection within about 112 square meters. The renovation of a forty year old house keeps the original ceiling piping, painted in copper tones, to preserve a sense of height. Rust finishes, hand painted surfaces, solid wood and Italian terrazzo create a vintage atmosphere, while red accents add contrast. A smooth path links the bar, exhibition, lounge and storage areas, and the lighting changes color temperature between day and night.
