Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Xiaosai Guard Robot by Ruichen Zeng Xiaosai is a guide robot designed for exhibition halls and public visitor areas. The robot combines translation, explanation, navigation and night patrol functions in one compact body measuring 550 by 400 by 620 millimetres. The shell and top are made of ABS with a painted metallic finish, the base is polycarbonate and the four wheels are made of TPE. Visitors call the robot by voice and follow it to a selected place, where an LCD screen and a voice give the explanation. A projected warning line marks the exhibition area, and the robot returns to its charging point when the battery is low.
