The Wine Hub Residence and Restaurant

Architecture, Building and Structure Design The Wine Hub Residence and Restaurant by Nikki, LK Ho The Wine Hub is a village building that combines a residence and a restaurant. The design aims to create a gathering place and to renew interaction among neighbours. Horizontal fins, inspired by traditional wine rack storage, shape the facade. The fins come in six different sizes, creating varied density that filters wind and sunlight and gives each interior function a different level of privacy. Glass panels on the ground floor can be opened, so the boundary between inside and outside is softened and the surrounding nature is brought into the interior.
