Building Materials and Construction Components Design Laodikeia Symbols Coating Surfaces by HAKAN HELVACIOĞLU Laodikeia and Its Symbols is a natural stone wall cladding collection inspired by the patterns of the ancient city of Laodikeia. The collection consists of carved stone relief modules, mainly 60 by 120 cm, with 60 by 60 cm and 30 by 60 cm sizes also available. Natural stone slabs are cut on five axis machines, carved on three axis machines and then polished by stone artisans. The modules can be combined in many ways, like a puzzle, so each surface can be arranged freely. Historical patterns are reinterpreted for present-day interiors.
