Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Fractured Multidimensional Glass Installation by Julie Conway Fractured is a site-specific glass installation created for interior spaces. The work is composed of nineteen individually hot blown glass parts, ranging from 254 to 650 millimetres in length. Each glass component is finished with 24K hammered gold leaf or silver chrome mirror. Broken mirror pieces, cables and lighting elements complete the composition. The coated surfaces reflect and refract light within the bend of each diamond form. The diamond shape represents life and the marks that life leaves. The installation can be reconfigured to suit different rooms.
