Parrot and Human Residential House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Parrot and Human Residential House by Chia Hao Tung Parrot and Human is a residential interior design for a couple and their pet parrot in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The home covers 56 square meters and includes an entrance, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a semi-open study room and a bathroom. Wooden elements and plants give the space a natural character. Custom iron parts and wall trusses serve as perches for the parrot. A triangular roof in the common area recalls the shape of a birdcage and conceals beams and the air conditioner. Partitions stop below the ceiling so the parrot can fly freely.
