Concord School Home Economics Room

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Concord School Home Economics Room by Vincent Li Concord is a home economics room designed for a secondary school in Hong Kong. The 1500 square foot space is organised around an oval, a shape chosen to express inclusion and togetherness. The learning area sits at the centre of the oval, while the laundry, baking, preparation and cafe areas are placed around it. Floor tiles in light grey, dark grey and wood grain mark each zone and echo the curved lake blue ceiling. White, wood and lake blue tones create a calm setting for shared learning and cooperation.
