Three hundred sites were selected from more than 500 researched locations, chosen for being relatively safe and active. The chart format lists the skill level required, the best season for diving, the level of underwater visibility and the maximum dive depth. The poster measures 1050 by 750 millimetres and is produced by offset printing in five colours with matte black ink. The aim is to help divers compare sites and plan dives.
