Jaeren Residential Apartment

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Jaeren Residential Apartment by Gudbjørg Simonsen Jaeren is a residential apartment interior located on the west coast of Norway. The design draws on local materials, using stone in every room and a large amount of wood. Floor to ceiling windows open the facade and bring the surrounding landscape inside. A grand fireplace stands at the centre of the living area and is visible from every part of it. The kitchen is arranged as a bar with an island, barstools and a curved back wall that mirrors the curved sofa opposite. Sculptural pendant lights act as an art installation.
