Raw Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Raw Residence by Erian Yen, Jimmy Chen Raw is the interior design of a four-story house in Taiwan. The design applies the wabi-sabi idea through simple lines, light colors and a minimum of decoration. Mineral paint with an irregular texture covers the curved walls and the ceiling, while original color wood flooring is laid in staggered and random patterns. Open shelving and hidden cabinets reduce the visual volume of the facades. The first floor holds the living and dining area, and the upper floors hold bedrooms, storage and a study room. Natural light is spread evenly to keep a calm distance between objects.
