The Collector Residential Apartment

Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Collector Residential Apartment by Hoda Lasheen The Collector is a residential apartment interior in Cairo, Egypt, with a total area of 250 square meters. The design serves an art collector and follows a maximalist concept of more colors, more patterns, more textures and more accessories. The interior is inspired by the historical palace of princess Aisha Fahmy on the Nile river bank in Cairo. Classic cornices, silk wall panels, wall paintings and wooden flooring are combined with colorful patterned textiles. The apartment also displays art and objects gathered during travels, so the home works as a museum of art.
