Sunmoon Tea Shop

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Sunmoon Tea Shop by Yu-Ting Chen Sunmoon is a tea shop in Nantou County, Taiwan. The indoor space covers 45 square meters and the outdoor space covers 24 square meters. The layout includes a bar, a seating area, a sales area and toilets. Existing roof tiles and loess bricks were kept and combined with modern materials. Rusted iron, solid wood and concrete floors are the main materials. Part of the solid wood table is joined with old wooden beams. H-beams reinforce the wall where an opening was cut between two warehouses. Plants on a solid wood handle show whether the shop is open.
