Oliv Olive Oil

Packaging Design Oliv Olive Oil by Victor Weiss Oliv is a packaging design for a Swedish extra virgin olive oil brand. The main bottle is made of borosilicate glass with a glossy finish that reveals the color of the oil. Olive oil is usually sold in tinted glass or in tins to limit exposure to sunlight. A patented glass combination was developed with a partner manufacturer to keep the oil visible and protect its quality. A second bottle, for a flavored oil, carries a hand printed matte label with blue textured foil. The black box is filled with shredded hinoki wood.
