Frames, speech balloons and half tones create a playful visual style, and four puzzle exploring characters guide students through the lessons. Simple explanations, illustrations and crossword puzzles show how words are used in daily life. A smaller companion book measuring 168 by 129 millimetres improves portability, so study can continue in many places.
