Solidarity Ring

Jewelry Design Solidarity Ring by Mehdi Moazzen Solidarity is a handmade ring inspired by the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. The design shows women holding hands around a sphere that represents the Earth. The sphere is set with synthetic gemstones in different colours, which stand for the racial diversity of the world. Two golden birds are nested at the centre. Interwoven bare gold wires represent the cut tresses of Iranian women. The ring is made of silver, gold wire and synthetic stones. A bolt and nut mechanism turns the upper part, so the piece can be worn as a full sphere or as a hemisphere.
