Wabi Sabi Residential House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Wabi Sabi Residential House by Miles Tseng Wabi Sabi is a residential interior design for a home of 100 square meters in Taichung City, Taiwan. The plan is horizontal, and a slightly raised floor separates the living room from the dining room. Solid walls are avoided, so daylight reaches deep into the interior. Grayscale paints extend across the walls and ceilings, and the wall finishes are applied by hand with a trowel for a simple, recessed feel. The home contains an entrance, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Doors sit flush with the walls to keep the space calm.
