Ideareve Ikegami Music Hall

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Ideareve Ikegami Music Hall by Ryuichi Sasaki Ideareve Ikegami is a music hall and mixed-use building in Ikegami, Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japan. The four-story reinforced concrete structure is ten meters high. The building contains a music hall with an auditorium, practice rooms, soundproofed rental residences and a penthouse. A vestibule and foyer form a circulation zone linking the interior and the exterior. Three brass-colored stainless steel diagonal walls shape the foyer, and acoustic reflectors line the hall. The geometric volume recalls the hilly landscape at the foot of the Ikegami Honmonji temple.
