Interior Space and Exhibition Design Chasing Light Residence by Yu-Nan Hou Chasing Light is the interior design of a three-floor single family house in Taiwan. The house is over 40 years old and has a long and narrow layout with poor lighting and ventilation. The renovation places the main living areas where natural daylight reaches, and the unlit middle part of the second floor holds a bathroom and storage. A transparent corrugated plate forms a semi-open roof on the third floor. Glass, perforated iron panels and light-colored surfaces spread daylight across each level. A built-in garage on the first floor solves a long-standing parking problem.
