Product Engineering and Technical Design Starry Night Orchids by Yen-Hsun Su Starry Night is a glowing orchid created through a biotechnology process. The orchid glows in the dark after high-entropy oxides that comply with European Union standards are absorbed through the leaf veins. No genetic modification is used. The petals show a designed pattern of light at night without any additional light source, recalling a starry sky. Several luminous colors are displayed. The plant measures 250 mm in width, 250 mm in length and 500 mm in height. The intent is to offer a calm and relaxing viewing experience.
